These General Business Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all intermediary services provided by Dot Square Associates ("the Agency", "we", "us"). They form part of any communication, introduction, or agreement with Clients and Talents.

We act only as an independent intermediary and matchmaker — we do not employ people, process payroll, issue contracts, or act as an employment agency.

Article 2 – Definition of Services

Our sole activity is to connect qualified job seekers and professionals ("Talents") with companies or organizations looking for such profiles ("Clients" or "Opportunity Providers"). We do this by:

  1. Finding and pre-screening suitable Talents
  2. Facilitating introductions and sharing necessary information
  3. Allowing both sides to evaluate a potential match

Our role ends completely once the introduction is made. Any further negotiation, contract, employment, or engagement is exclusively between the Talent and the Client.

II. The Intermediary Role & Limitations of Liability

Article 3 – No Employment Relationship

We are not the employer of any Talent. We do not sign employment contracts, service contracts, or any other engagement agreements. We do not pay salaries, withhold taxes, provide insurance, or assume any employer duties or liabilities.

Article 5 – Fees

We charge a facilitation fee for successful introductions. Fees may apply to Clients, Talents, or both parties depending on the specific arrangement. The exact amount, payment trigger (e.g., upon contract signing), and terms are agreed privately in a separate offer or agreement. Fees are never disclosed publicly on this website. No Talent is ever charged without prior explicit agreement.

III. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Article 6 – Data Processing

We collect and process personal data only to facilitate introductions (CVs, contact details, skills). Talents consent to us sharing relevant profile information with potential Clients. We comply with GDPR (for EU-related activities) and applicable data protection laws. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

All information exchanged through us is confidential. You agree not to share or misuse it outside the recruitment process.

IV. General Provisions

Article 8 – Intellectual Property

Any materials, databases, or methods we provide remain our property and may only be used to evaluate our service.

These Terms apply as long as you use our service. Either party may end the relationship with written notice. Confidentiality, liability limits, and fee obligations continue after termination.
